
In the fall of 2024, the Lonoke Leadership Lunch series will re-launch with a fresh lineup and exciting announcements. Attendees will be welcomed back to “The Front Porch of the Delta” for a great time of networking and learning together.
The content and speakers will present brief “Ted Talk-style” leadership lessons from their personal experience to a diverse audience of executives, volunteer leaders, decision-makers and elected officials from throughout the region.
WHY
LONOKE?
Lonoke is a town that has experienced ups and downs, cycles of momentum, and times of challenge. This lecture series is an invitation to enjoy the town’s exceptional hospitality and to share concepts and ideas that promote exemplary leadership and a visible, attractive, and connected community.
Lonoke is perfectly positioned geographically, halfway between the Arkansas River and the White River, 25 minutes from Downtown Little Rock, and a front porch for our neighbors in the Delta.

DR. CLIFF JONES

On Tuesday, March 11, Dr. Cliff Jones joins the Lonoke Leadership Lunch lineup to deliver a dynamic lunchtime talk!
Dr. Jones serves as deputy director at the Delta Center for Economic Development at Arkansas State University. Jones has served as a founding faculty member and department chair and later dean of arts and technology at Cy-Fair College in Texas. He returned to Arkansas in 2008, working as vice chancellor for academics at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. He then served as senior vice chancellor for learning and instruction at Arkansas State University Mid-South.Jones received his B.S.B.A and M.P.A. degrees from the U of A and his Ph.D. in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Jones is a scholar of the blues, and possesses a love for the Delta and its people and a passion for developing leaders to serve our region.
